“If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you, for I am grieved over the disaster I have inflicted on you.”
Anywhere God set your feet on it becomes a blessed land for him. Although it may be a land of rocks and thistles, God changes it into a land of hope. What you may see although not pleasing it’s only for a short moment.
The Babylonians had captured the land of Israel and taken many people into captivity. The land had become unbearable. The remnants had decided to go to Egypt but God told them to stay in that ruined land. How could they feel about such remarks?
He said he could build them and plant them. How could these happen when the land had already been taken over?
God looks at future plans not at the present suffering.
There may be many difficulties bitter and unbearable but still God tells you to stay in those difficulties.
The present situation is not the same with the coming situations. The present suffering is only for a short season.
Yes, what you are passing through is too painful but just hold on, God has a good plan for you.
He said if we remain he will. This means that He wants us at a particular place, specific as per his will and plans.
He wants to see us in our steadfast minds focused on His direction. He wants us to be connected to his heart.
Sometimes situations may move our hearts away from the right direction. The spirit of fear diverts our focus and leads us away from the truth.
“Though you have made me see trouble, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depth of the earth you will again bring me up.”
Many times we blame Satan for challenges we face but God clearly said that he grieved over the disaster he inflicted on them. In psalms he said he made him see trouble. Some challenges and troubles are sometimes for our benefits.
Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish.
The plan of God is unfailing plan though it may seem to be a challenge.
The sufferings at the present moment are our tomorrow’s pillars to breakthroughs. God uses our weaknesses to promote us into his glory.
The weakness in your marriage will turn your marriage into an everlasting love.
Your difficulties in your employment will be a pillar of your promotion.
Your sicknesses will be turned into a master to lead you to your salvation.
Your poverty will be turned into a path to lead you to your riches.
